…was only okay. We all ended up catching the midnight showing Thursday. I was pretty wired, from Bawls and Dr. Pepper so I was awake through the whole thing.Without getting spoilery or going into detail…The first half-hour of the movie or so, the introduction of the villains–way too compressed. But, well, the movie features three villains–so it kind of has to be compressed. The next hour and and change was awesome. The movie was quirky and fun, much like what made Spider-Man 2 so amazing. Then the movie fell apart at the end. My God, did it fall apart.None of the characters got enough screen time, except for Mary-Jane. She probably got too much.This movie to me is the definition of a rental. It should be watched but you shouldn’t go out of your way to see it.
