…so, here is the arcade cabinet circa October 2008. I started this thing, when? Like late 2005?As of right now, it has an Xbox, PS2 and PC. I will be adding the Dreamcast in a week or two. I decided to turn the cabinet into a “Ghouls n Ghosts” cabinet. I will add the side graphics soon enough.I also need to pull up the control panel and add an overlay because the old overlay (which I just covered with a piece of black plexiglass) is still visible underneath. I will probably do a completely custom graphic there, laying out what button does what. Here is a picture from November 2006, almost two years ago to the day. I still remember staying up all night the day before Thanksgiving working on the video interface. I have learned a lot in the process. It has been really fun.I started off with a Tekken Tag Tournament arcade cabinet (which was really just a modified Mortal Kombat I cabinet). At this point everything I do is just academic. I would like to build a new cabinet from scratch next time. I really want to do a cocktail cabinet or a completely custom racing cabinet. You do not see too many of those.
